Identity in Christ
• I have been adopted as a child of God, beloved and holy, according to the purpose of His will and the riches of His grace. (Eph 1:3-9, John 1:12-13, Gal 3:26-29, Col 3:12-17)
• I have been made an heir to the promises of God. (Gal 3:29, 2 Cor 1:20)
• I have intimacy and friendship with God. (John 15:15-16, 1 Tim 2:5)
• I have peace with God and rejoice in hope of His glory. (Rom 5:1)
• I have been bought with a price and my body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. (1 Cor 6:19-20)
• I have been rescued from darkness and transferred to the Kingdom of God. (Col 1:13-14)
• I have been called out of darkness into His marvelous light. (1 Peter 2:9)
• I have been chosen by God before the foundation of the world. (Col 3:12, Eph 1:4)
• I have been made a new creation. (2 Cor 5:17-21)
• I belong to Christ and my life is now hidden with Christ in God. (Col 3:3)
• I put on my new self and wear kindness, humility, meekness, compassion, love, forgiveness and patience. (Col 3:10-12)
• I look to things above and not on things of the earth. (Col 3:2)
• With prayer and thanksgiving, I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.(Phil 4:13, Col 4:2)
• I am made complete and whole through union with Christ. (Col 2:9-10)
• I have been made righteous and holy before God through faith in Christ. (Rom 3:22, John 5:1, Phil 3:9)
• I am able to boldly approach the throne of the Lord where I receive mercy and find grace. (Heb 4:14-16, Eph 3:2)
• I am now a member of a royal priesthood. (1 Peter 2:9)
• I have been saved by grace through faith and I am seated with Christ in the heavenly places. (Eph 2:5-6)
• I have redemption and forgiveness which He has lavished upon on me according to the counsel of his will and for the praise of His glory. (Eph 1:3-12)
• I can trust all things to work together for good according to His purpose for me. (Romans 8:26, Phil 1:6)
